Just another Manic Monday

Aghhh... I can't believe that tomorrow is Monday again! How is it that the weekends just fly by so quickly???? C and I had tons of fun this weekend- The phantom Gourmet food fest on Sat. followed by lots of episopes of Season 1: Lost. Relaxing Sunday. This is the life. Now back to the grind. And what a week this one looks like it will be: Hayride at school tomorrow (oh what fun!- sarcasm dripping), finding out what's up with the drama in my room, and then hopefully finding out more good news about the boy with the stroke. I hope this week goes by as quickly as the weekend went!

Jaded

Wow- the past few days have left me feeling quite Jaded towards life. First a boy from my school had a stroke last week and today when I opened my e-mail I found a message from an old co-worker who was letting me know that the baby sister of an old student was diagnosed with Syphlis (very advanced)- and it was a family who DSS was following when I had the student for suspected sexual abuse. It just makes me sad.

Let's Dance...

First dance class of the year is tonight. Wow- I have a feeling that although I have been at the gym 4+ days a week these last few weeks, my legs are going to kill tomorrow! It will be fun though.

Anywho, if you are an independent or democrat in MA, please go out and vote tomorrow (my husband and I need raises, and that is only going to happen if there is a democrat in office- gotta love education)!!!!

Love ya all (and please leave me a comment if you read this!)

My Generation

While sitting at the Garden yesterday I realized that with the vast number of Blogs which I read, I reallly need to start my own, so here goes!

Recovering today from rocking out at The Who yesterday. It was an awesome way to spend a Saturday. While at the concert, I realized that once my husband and I start a family our kid will become quite the cool baby- what made me realize it you might ask? The Who onesie's they were selling at the concert. Hmmm..... went home and searched the computer and guess what? They sell Beatles, Who, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Bowie onsies online! This might become a problem in the future.

Anyway, welcome to my blog! This should be fun!
